Brain Dominance Questionnaire

The very top part of your brain, the neo-cortex or 'thinking brain', is split into two hemispheres. We know that the left hemisphere controls the right side of the body and vica versa. The two hemispheres also influence the way in which we learn, especially if one side is dominant.

Left hemishpere dominant people tend to prefer to work in a sequential, language-based, ordered was and enjoy detail. Right hemisphere dominant people tend to prefer to work in a more random, spontaneous fashion, in the context of the 'bigger picture'.

Being dominant in one hemisphere does not prevent you for working in the fashion preferred by the other hemisphere and many of us are a balance between the two.

To test out whether you have a dominance, complete the following 'Whose side are You on?' Questionnaire by selecting the answer to each question that best describes you.
